I work from the lens of a Trauma- informed, Queer affirmative approach where I aim to work collaboratively with the client looking together to what they want to bring to the session especially entangled by the conditioning set by the society. Seeing people as more than a sum of their parts, but as a whole is an important part of the process for me in therapy. I strongly believe that clients are the experts of their lives and my role is being beside them as things unfold, holding space for clients creating and building safety as they uncover and tap into their inner wisdom and compassion.
I strongly advocate the process being inclusive of our connection with our body and letting it guide us in the journey.
In a lot of ways it becomes about them finding their ways into their selves- through learning, unlearning , stepping back, leaning in but always becoming.

Some modalities I use in the process are Parts work, Presence, Mindfulness integrated work, Narrative Practices. Somatic practices and CBT.

I hope first and foremost clients feel safe, seen and heard with me, where they know that this space would be free from judgements, advice imposition, and their bodies can gently let the tension be released. I hope sessions with me extend the feeling of security to themselves where they can grow through compassion and accountability.

I enjoy reading books, going for a run, exploring new places, grabbing a cup of coffee with my loved ones, spending time in nature, and writing my thoughts on paper.
